STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS
ONLINE REGISTRATION


Registration for Spring 2010

(Courses for May Term, Summer I, Summer II will be listed for degree planning purposes)
Call the Registrar’s Office if you have any questions. (793.3888)


1.      Change PIN:                        Available Now
You may be asked to change your PIN for security reasons.  If so, your new PIN must be numeric and no longer than 8 digits.

2.      Verifying Addresses:          Available Now
·         Since there is no paperwork involved (other than clearing Holds), it is imperative that you verify all your addresses.
·         Campus Connect will default to a screen that will ask you to make changes to your local, permanent, and billing address, or verify that no changes are needed.
·         This default screen will remain on for approximately three weeks.

o    Make the necessary changes.
o    Click SUBMIT CHANGES.
o    If no changes are needed, click NO CHANGE button.

·         You may still update address information at any time by:
o    Select STUDENT INFORMATION
o    Select DEMOGRAPHIC DATA.
o    Follow the steps listed above.

3.      HOLDS:                                Beginning on Wednesday, October 28
All HOLDS will be updated by this date.  If you are on any holds that prevent you from registering, you must see the Registrar’s Office for the appropriate paperwork and approvals.

4.      Advising:                             Beginning on Wednesday, October 28
You must see your assigned advisor before you can register on-online.  Your advisor will indicate in Campus Connect that you have been advised and have their permission to register for the courses that you have discussed.   Other advisors on campus will not have access to clear you for registration.

NOTE:  When you log into Campus Connect, your assigned advisor and major are listed.  If you need to make changes to any of these areas, please see Melanie Long in the Academic Advising office in Maedgen.

5.      Registering On-Line:         Beginning on Monday, November 2
·         Select the REGISTRATION button.
·         Select the TERM that you want to register for.
·         Select either DEPARTMENT for a list of the courses available for the term you have chosen.
·         Click LIST COURSES.
·         Click on the COURSE that you want.
·         Click ADD.  You are now registered in that particular course.
·          If you need to drop a course, follow the above steps and click the DROP button.

6.      Prerequisites:
The system does not allow you to register for courses for which you have not completed or are not currently enrolled in the prerequisites.  If you have any problems with this function, please contact the Registrar’s Office for assistance.
