Thanks to all of you who signed up for McMurry Alert on Wednesday in the campus center or in the dining hall. If you have not signed up yet, either last year or this year, here are instructions for signing up to receive emergency notifications via text message:
Click on the McMurry Alert icon on the McMurry home page:
 Complete the information under “Sign up now” section: (you can choose any username and password; be sure to double-click on “select carrier” to view drop-down selections.)
After information is filled in, click on “Create Account”. You will immediately be sent a text message on your cell phone with a validation code.
In the next window, you will see a box for your validation code. Fill in the code from your cell phone and submit. (Your enrollment won’t be complete until you validate it.)
That’s all there is to it! If you wish to be notified by e-mail or voice mail, you can also designate that method at the same site. If you have any questions, contact Vanessa Roberts at
